CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship
The CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship (Spanish: ''Campeonato de Parejas de la Arena Coliseo del CMLL'') is a professional wrestling Tag team championship promoted by the Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling based promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) since 2000. The championship is considered a revival of the EMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship that was used in the 1960s and 1970s when CMLL was known as "Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre" (EMLL). The CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship is considered a secondary championship, with the CMLL World Tag Team Championship being the primary championship for the tag team division in CMLL. As it is a professional wrestling championship, its holders are determined by promoters or promotions, not by athletic competition. Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as ''Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre'' (''EMLL'') (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Founded in 1933, it is the oldest professional wrestling promotion still in existence. CMLL World Tag Team Championship
The CMLL World Tag Team Championship (''CMLL Campeonato Mundial de Parejas'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling World Tag Team Championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL; Spanish for "World Wrestling Council") in Mexico and is for two-man tag teams only. The championship was created in 1993 to replace the Mexican National Tag Team Championship and is still promoted by CMLL to this day. It is the top championship promoted by CMLL, with the CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship and the Occidente Tag Team Championship considered lower ranked, regional tag team championships. As it is a professional wrestling championship, it is not won or lost competitively but instead by the decision of the bookers of a wrestling promotion. César Baltazar de Lucio Valencia (born October 21, 1970) is a semi-retired Mexican ''Luchador'', or professional wrestler best known under the ring name Karloff Lagarde Jr. Despite what his ring name might suggest, he is not the son of Karloff Lagarde, but his nephew. Ricardo Amezquita Carreño (born December 9, 1968), better known by his ring name Virus, is a Mexican ''luchador'' (or professional wrestler). He is currently working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), and portrays a ''rudo'' ("Bad guy") wrestling character. Mexican National Tag Team Championship
The Mexican National Tag Team Championship ''()'' is a national Mexican professional wrestling championship controlled by the (Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission) and competed for by two-man tag teams. The championship was created in 1957, promoted regularly until 2003, and intermittently until 2011 when the last known defense took place. (EMLL) had control of the championship from its creation until 1992, at which point it was transferred to AAA.
