The CMLL 86th Anniversary Show ( es, 86. Aniversario de CMLL) was a major professional wrestling event, scripted and produced by the Mexican ''lucha libre'' wrestling promotion, wrestling company Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL; Spanish for "World Wrestling Council") that took place on September 27, 2019 in CMLL's home arena Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico. The show was the biggest show of the year for CMLL, considered their version of the Super Bowl or WrestleMania. This was the 92nd EMLL/CMLL Anniversary Show (There were two in 1963, 1966, 1972, 1975, 1977, but not held in 1985). The CMLL Anniversary Show series is the longest-running annual professional wrestling show, starting in 1934. Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as ''Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre'' (''EMLL'') (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Arena Coliseo is an indoor arena in Mexico City, Mexico located at República del Perú 77 in the Cuauhtémoc, D.F., Cuauhtémoc Boroughs of the Mexican Federal District, borough. Salvador Lutteroth González (21 March 1897 – 5 September 1987) was a Mexican professional wrestling promoter of the mid-twentieth century. Lutteroth's organization, Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (EMLL), was the dominant Mexican wrestling promotional enterprise from its founding in 1933 until Lutteroth left the company in the 1950s. Lucha Libre
Lucha libre (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term used in Latin America for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. The wearing of masks has developed special significance, and matches are sometimes contested in which the loser must permanently remove his mask, which is a wager with a high degree of weight attached. José Francisco García Cruz (born August 12, 1993) is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, who works under the ring name Chamuel. He currently works for the Mexican Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion where he portrays a heel (known as a ''rudo'' in lucha libre, the antagonists of professional wrestling). He is one of the competitors in CMLL's ''Micro-Estrella'' ("Micro-Star") division where he competes with and against other wrestlers with dwarfism. His ring name is based on Camael, the archangel of strength, courage, and war from Christian and Jewish mythology. Microman/Micro Man (born September 30, 1998) is the ring name of a Mexican masked professional wrestler (''luchador enmascarado'' in Spanish), and is currently under contract with Major League Wrestling and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). He previously worked for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Microman has dwarfism and competed in CMLL's little people-exclusive ''Micro-Estrellas'' ("Micro Stars") division. He is the son of KeMonito, also a little person, who works as a ''mascota'' in CMLL.
