Chittagong Medical College
Chittagong Medical College (CMC) is situated in the port city of Chattogram, Bangladesh and is the oldest medical college in the south-eastern part of the country. It is affiliated with a tertiary level hospital where clinical students are trained in medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology and other sub-specialties. History Chittagong Medical College Hospital was established at the present site in 1960 with only 120 beds and the outpatient services. At that time the young hospital housed only the Departments of Surgery and Gynecology and Obstetrics. Chittagong Hospital Housed the department of Medicine and allied specialties still 1969 and thereafter it remained affiliated with Chittagong Medical College Hospital as one of its teaching hospitals. Compact Model Council
The Compact Model Coalition (formerly the Compact Model Council) is a working group in the Electronic Design Automation industry formed to choose, maintain and promote the use of standard semiconductor device models. Commercial and industrial analog simulators (such as SPICE) need to add device models as technology advances (see Moore's law) and earlier models become inaccurate. Before this group was formed, new transistor models were largely proprietary, which severely limited the choice of simulators that could be used. It was formed in August, 1996, for the purpose developing and standardizing the use and implementation of SPICE models and the model interfaces. The Cluster Munition Coalition (CMC) is an international civil society movement, which campaigns against the use, production, stockpiling, and transfer of cluster munitions. Cluster munitions, a type of munition stockpiled by more than 80 states, are documented to have caused significant civilian deaths and injuries and have frequently caused indiscriminate effects in both conflict and peace times. Their use is prohibited under the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, a convention formally endorsed on May 30th, 2008, in Dublin, Ireland, and was signed by 94 countries in Oslo on December 3-4, 2008.
