CKWW (580 AM) is a Canadian radio station in Windsor, Ontario. It is owned by Bell Media and airs an oldies format targeted to the Windsor/Detroit market. Most of the playlist is made up of hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. The studios and offices are on Ouellette Avenue in Windsor. CKWW's transmitter is on Concession Road 4N in Amherstburg, Ontario. CKLW (800 AM) is a commercial radio station in Windsor, Ontario, serving Southwestern Ontario and Metro Detroit. CKLW has a news/talk format. CIMX-FM (88.7 MHz, ''Pure Country 89'') is a commercial radio station in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It primarily serves Essex County, but has a signal that reaches the entire Detroit-Windsor metropolitan area. It is owned by Bell Media and airs a country format. Royce Frith
Royce Herbert Frith, (November 12, 1923 – March 17, 2005) was a Canadian diplomat, public servant and politician. He received a BA from the University of Toronto, an LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Dipl. d’études supérieures (droit) from the University of Ottawa. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1949. An amateur actor and performer, Frith found time to act in plays, perform on the radio, and sing and play several instruments. Frith first came to prominence as a member of the Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturalism in the 1960s. A playlist is a list of video or audio files that can be played back on a media player either sequentially or in a shuffled order. In its most general form, an audio playlist is simply a list of songs, but sometimes a loop.
