CJ Mac
Bryaan Ross, also known as CJ Mac (Born in March 26, 1964) is an American rapper and actor. Music career He released his debut EP, ''Color Me Funky'', independently in 1991, under the name "CJ Mack." The album is out of print, and extremely rare. He returned in 1995 and released his second album, '' True Game'' on Rap-A-Lot Records, in 1995 with producer Mad. He was originally going to release the album through Ruthless Records. He appeared in the movie '' Thicker than Water'' with Mack 10 and Fat Joe, where he played a drug lord called Gator. His third album, ''Platinum Game'', featured various west coast rappers and peaked at 77 Top R&B/Hip-hop albums. CJ Mac also directed a documentary called ''On the C-Walk''. He is also known for working with Death Row Records in late 2000 with his song "I Ain't Fuccin Wit' Cha" (from ''Too Gangsta for Radio''), in which he insulted Dr. Dre for leaving the label and declaring gangsta rap dead, as well as artists Hittman, Eminem, Sn ... Thicker Than Water (1999 Film)
''Thicker than Water'' is a 1999 film directed by Richard Cummings Jr. and starring a host of rappers and urban entertainers such as Fat Joe, Mack 10, Ice Cube, MC Eiht, Big Pun, and others. The film contains rappers from both the East and the West Coast, as it was made after the end of the East Coast-West Coast feud. Plot In Los Angeles, two rival gang leaders are also trying to be music producers. When DJ's (Mack 10) equipment shorts out and Lonzo (Fat Joe) is cut out of the action by a record producer, the two join forces, which also requires a tentative peace between gangs. With backing from Gator (CJ Mac), a smooth New Orleans drug king, DJ and Lonzo start drug dealing, organizing their gangs into pushers. Shawn Thomas, also known by his stage name C-Bo, is an American rapper. C-Bo, notoriously known for his relationship with law enforcement, was one of the first rappers to be jailed due to his lyrical content, a scathing critique of political officials, including governor Pete Wilson, California's Prop. 184 mandatory 25-life sentences for three strike felons, and police on his track "Deadly Game" written with rapper X-Raided in 1995.
