CJNI-FM (95.7 MHz) is a Canadian radio station in Halifax, Nova Scotia. CJNI has a News/Talk/Sports format branded as ''CityNews 95.7''. The station is owned by Rogers Sports & Media which also owns sister station CFLT-FM. CJNI-FM is currently the only commercial News/Talk/Sports station in Atlantic Canada. ''CityNews'' (corporately styled City''News'') is the title of news and current affairs programming on Rogers Sports & Media's Citytv network in Canada. The newscast division was founded on September 28, 1975 as ''CityPulse'' as a standalone local newscast on the network's Toronto and Vancouver stations owned by CHUM Limited. Through the acquisitions of the Edmonton, Winnipeg and Calgary A-Channel stations in 2004, it was relaunched under the CityNews brand on August 2, 2005 and later expanded to Montreal in 2012. CFLT-FM (92.9 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada and serving the Halifax Regional Municipality. The station is owned by Rogers Sports & Media and broadcasts an adult hits format, using the syndicated music service and trademark known as ''Jack 92.9''. Toronto Blue Jays Radio Network
The Toronto Blue Jays Radio Network consists of 21 stations (17 AM, 4 FM) in 7 Canadian provinces broadcasting the team's games in English. At the start of the 2021 season, the radio broadcasts consisted of a simulcast of the audio from the Sportsnet television broadcasts of Blue Jays games, featuring play-by-play announcer Dan Shulman and colour analysts Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler, with Rob Wong and Shoaib Ali serve as on-air hosts. The simulcasts continued through the end of July, after which a dedicated radio broadcast was used with Ben Wagner calling play-by-play. Clayton Park is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. History The community of Clayton Park is named after a family that owned property in the area extending up the southern slope of Geizer's Hill. On 12 July 1962, the Clayton Park development began when it received approval from the Municipality of the County of Halifax. Clayton Park was created as an upper middle class community and its prime developer was the Shaw company, which placed certain architectural requirements for houses and apartments, among which was a high percentage of brick; Shaw being the largest brick manufacturer in Atlantic Canada. CFTR CityNews 680 (formerly 680 News AM) is a commercial all-news radio station licensed to Toronto, Ontario, serving the Greater Toronto Area.
