The Centre International de Recherche en Infectiologie is an academic and research institute based in Lyon, France. __TOC__ Synopsis The CIRI is composed of 22 teams gathered behind one goal: the fight against infectious diseases (which is the second cause of death worldwide) by "promoting in-depth conceptual and technological advances through approaches that span from fundamental to clinical/applied research." The key areas of expertise of the CIRI teams are bacteriology, immunology and virology. The CIRI contains a Biosafety Level 4 laboratory. CIRI Human Rights Data Project
From 2004 to 2014, the Cingranelli-Richards (CIRI) Human Rights Data Project annually rated the level of government respect for a variety of internationally recognized human rights. The final CIRI data set contains quantitative indicators of 15 human rights for 195 countries, annually from 1981 to 2011. The CIRI data were used in over 170 countries by scholars, students, policymakers, and analysts representing over 400 organizations. CIRI's founders and co-directors were political scientists David Cingranelli at Binghamton University, SUNY and David L. Richards at the University of Connecticut. K. Chad Clay at the University of Georgia joined as third co-director in 2013. Accessing the data The CIRI data were free for not-for-profit users. Continuous Individualized Risk Index (CIRI) (initialism pronounced /ˈsɪri/) is to a set of probabilistic risk models utilizing Bayesian statistics for integrating diverse cancer biomarkers over time to produce a unified prediction of outcome risk, as originally described by Kurtz, Esfahani, et al (2019) from Ash Alizadeh’s laboratory at Stanford. CIRI-FM
CIRI-FM is a traffic advisory radio station that operates at 107.9 FM in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Owned by the City of Calgary, the station began broadcasting at 97.5 MHz as part of a year-long pilot project in 2006. It moved to its former 106.5 MHz frequency in early 2008 to make way for the new CIGY-FM, which launched on March 6, 2008 on the adjacent 97.7 FM frequency. In 2013, a new radio station ( CKYR-FM) was launched on the adjacent frequency at 106.7 FM while CIRI-FM remained at 106.5, until the station received an upgrade on October 15, 2020 to replace the broadcasting equipment and relocate the transmitter to a more central location, thereby increasing the radio's coverage area over Calgary at its new current frequency 107.9 FM.
