CKRY-FM is a Canadian radio station that broadcasts a country format at 105.1 FM in Calgary, Alberta. The station uses its on-air brand name ''Country 105''. The station is owned by Corus Entertainment, which also owns sister stations CHQR, CFGQ-FM, CICT-DT, and CISA-DT. CICT-DT (channel 2) is a television station in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, part of the Global Television Network. The station is owned and operated by network parent Corus Entertainment, and has studios at the Calgary Television Centre on 23 Street Northeast and Barlow Trail in northeast Calgary, near the Mayland Heights neighbourhood; its transmitter is located near Old Banff Coach Road/ Highway 563 and Artists View Drive, west of the Calgary city limits. The Canadian Communications Foundation (CCF) is a Canadian nonprofit organization which documents the history of broadcasting in Canada, particularly radio and television. Since 1995, the organization has distributed its collection via an internet website. It also provides a history of radio and television stations, including networks, programs, broadcasters and many others. The CCF was established in 1967, by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters. Its mission: to "commemorate throughout Canada the development of electronic communications". Numeris (formerly the Bureau of Broadcast Measurement, or BBM Canada) is a Canadian audience measurement organization. Established on May 11, 1944 as a division of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, Numeris is the primary provider of viewership numbers for television and radio broadcasters in Canada.
