CJVB
CJVB (1470 kHz) is a radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which broadcasts multilingual programming. Owned by the Fairchild Group, the station with a power of 50,000 watts, using two different directional patterns for daytime and nighttime operation. CJVB's studios and transmitter are located in Richmond, British Columbia, Richmond. Operation began as a 10,000-watt station at the same transmitter site in 1972, with a power increase to 50 kW in 1979. The station was originally licensed to Jan van Bruchem, whose initials give CJVB its call letters. CJVB was the third multicultural radio station in Canada, following CHIN (AM), CHIN in Toronto and CFMB in Montreal. Mount Seymour
Mount Seymour is a mountain located in Mount Seymour Provincial Park in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is a part of the North Shore Mountains, rising to the north from the shores of Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm to a summit of above the Indian River and Deep Cove neighbourhoods. Mount Seymour is most commonly identified for its ski area of the same name, and as a popular hiking area. It is named in honour of Frederick Seymour, second governor of the Colony of British Columbia. The name is used to refer to the ridge although the main summit is one of several, and is also known as Third Peak. Aberdeen Centre is a shopping mall in Richmond, British Columbia. It is located in the Golden Village district on Hazelbridge Way, bordered by Cambie Road to the north. History The original Aberdeen Centre was built in 1989. It contained about 50 to 75 stores. The original Chinese name was "", which refers to the Chinese name of Aberdeen, Hong Kong.
