The Centro de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos also known as CECyT (in English: Center of Scientific and Technological Studies) is a state high school system in Mexico, belonging to the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN). CECyT 2 Miguel Bernard Perales
The Center of Science and Technological Studies No. 2 "Miguel Bernard", (CECyT 2), is a high school belonging to National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), located in Mexico City. Name ThCECyT 2has had different names since its inception. The first of the first names that this institution would adopt is Pre-vocational School 2 of Arts and Crafts, later the name would be changed to Vocational School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (EVIME). Around 1960, it acquired the Professional School of Engineering and Physical-Mathematical Sciences, these names would give rise to know these schools as "vocational" or "voca". Narciso Bassols
Narciso Bassols García (October 22, 1897 – July 24, 1959) was a Mexican lawyer, socialist politician, ambassador to France, the Soviet Union, and the United Kingdom, and professor of law at the National University of Mexico. He co-founded the Popular Party ( es, Partido Popular), and the League of Political Action ( es, Liga de Acción Política). Bassols is most noted for his role in socializing the country's public education system. Narciso Bassols, born in Tenango del Valle, Estado de México, was an atheist and the nephew of Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada. Iztapalapa () is a borough (''demarcación territorial'') in Mexico City, located on the east side of the entity. The borough is named after and centered on the formerly independent municipality of Iztapalapa, which is officially called Iztapalapa de Cuitláhuac for disambiguation purposes. The rest is made up of a number of other communities which are governed by the city of Iztapalapa. With a population of 1.8 million as of 2010, Iztapalapa is the most populous borough of Mexico City, and it is also the most populous municipality in the country. Over 90% of its territory is urbanized. Cuauhtémoc
Cuauhtémoc (, ), also known as Cuauhtemotzín, Guatimozín, or Guatémoc, was the Aztec ruler (''tlatoani'') of Tenochtitlan from 1520 to 1521, making him the last Aztec Emperor. The name Cuauhtemōc means "one who has descended like an eagle", and is commonly rendered in English as "Descending Eagle", as in the moment when an eagle folds its wings and plummets down to strike its prey. This is a name that implies aggressiveness and determination. Cuauhtémoc took power in 1520 as successor of Cuitláhuac and was a cousin of the late emperor Moctezuma II. His young wife, who was later known as Isabel Moctezuma, was one of Moctezuma's daughters. He ascended to the throne when he was around 25 years old, while Tenochtitlan was being besieged by the Spanish and devastated by an epidemic of smallpox brought to the Americas by Spanish conquerors. Azcapotzalco ( nci, Āzcapōtzalco , , from ''wikt:azcapotzalli, āzcapōtzalli'' “anthill” + ''wikt:-co, -co'' “place”; literally, “In the place of the anthills”) is a Boroughs of Mexico City, borough (''demarcación territorial'') in Mexico City.
