''CD'87'' is the third greatest hits album by Japanese singer Akina Nakamori. It was released on 1 May 1987 under Warner Pioneer. This greatest hits includes smash-hit single ''Desire'', the second best sold single in 1986 which has rewarded multiple awards. Background This special compilation album was released as a celebration to her fifth debut anniversary. In the same period of time, Nakamori has received an award for ''The Artist of The Year'' in the Japan Gold Disc Award. It consist of three singles released in 1986 and one single released in 1987. Beside the leading single track, it also consists of their b-side tracks. Cassette-tape only single '' Nonfiction Ecstasy'' was not recorded in this compilation album, instead it was included in the compilation album Best II. is the 14th single by Japanese entertainer Akina Nakamori. Written by Yoko Aki and Kisaburō Suzuki, it was released on February 3, 1986 by Warner Pioneer through the Reprise label as the lead single from her third compilation album '' CD'87''. Background "Desire (Jōnetsu)" was used by Pioneer Corporation for their Private CD 500AV commercial featuring Nakamori. Live TV performances of the song featured one of Nakamori's signature looks: a bob wig and a stylized purple and brown kimono with high-heeled shoes. Nakamori performed the song on the 37th ''Kōhaku Uta Gassen'', making her fourth appearance on NHK's New Year's Eve special. Crimson is the tenth studio album by Japanese singer Akina Nakamori. It was released on 24 December 1986 under the Warner Pioneer label. The album includes original version of ''Eki''. Background ''Crimson'' is second studio album released in year 1986, after four months from previous studio album Fushigi. The music production team consist two writers: Mariya Takeuchi, Akiko Kobayashi and two arrangers, Shiro Sagisu and Kazuo Shiina. The album consist of any previously released single and includes 10 new songs recorded. Nakamori sings with whisper or silent voice, which is not usual for the people who know her as a singer with a powerful vibrato. Each of the songs has balladic melody line, in the comparison with previous studio album ''Fushigi''. Background In February and March 1986 was announced the name of the album along with early track set list. is a Japanese Singing, singer and Actor, actress. She is one of the most popular and best-selling artists in Japan. Akina achieved national recognition after winning the 1981 season of the talent show ''Star Tanjō!''. is a Japanese J-pop songwriter and guitarist. Biography Born in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, Suzuki studied at the South Hirosaki High School. Suzuki was most active in the 1980s and wrote for many performers.
