CCTV-7
CCTV-7 is a Chinese free-to-air television channel owned by China Central Television. The channel primarily carries programming devoted to the People's Liberation Army. Prior to 1 August 2019, the channel also carried agriculture-related programmes. On 1 August 2019 (coinciding with the anniversary of the Army's establishment), the channel dropped its agriculture programmes, which moved to the new CCTV-17 channel from 23 September. ''Xinwen Lianbo'' (, literally News Simulcast) is a daily news programme produced by China Central Television (CCTV), a state broadcaster. It is shown simultaneously by all local TV stations in mainland China, making it one of the world's most-watched programmes. It has been broadcast since 1 January 1978. This program is used as a medium for the state to announce government announcements and meetings, commentaries on major economic and policy issues, and the activities of national leaders. The program reflects official positions of the Chinese Communist Party on a wide range of matters. CCTV Headquarters
The CCTV Headquarters serves as the headquarters for China Central Television (CCTV) formerly located at the old China Central Television Building some to the west. Feted by architecture critics as perhaps "the greatest work of architecture built in this century" and awarded the 2013 Best Tall Building Worldwide from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the 51-floor skyscraper on East Third Ring Road, Guanghua Road in the Beijing Central Business District (CBD). Groundbreaking took place on 1 June 2004 and the building's façade was completed in January 2008. CCTV-13 (, China Central Television News Channel), formerly CCTV News (), broadcasting across China since 2003, is a 24-hour news channel of China Central Television and the biggest news channel in mainland China. CCTV-1 (CCTV General Channel) is the primary channel of CCTV, the national flagship terrestrial television network of the People's Republic of China.
