İscehisar
İscehisar is a town of Afyonkarahisar Province in the Aegean Region, Turkey, Aegean region of Turkey, on the road between the city of Afyon and Ankara. It is the seat of İscehisar District.İlçe Belediyesi

Its population is 13,285 (2021). The mayor is Seyhan Kılınçarslan (Justice and Development Party (Turkey), AKP). İscehisar has been identified as the ancient town of Docimium where the famous Pavonazzo marble, Docimaean marble was quarried which was used throughout the Roman Empire.

Marble is a metamorphic rock consisting of carbonate minerals (most commonly calcite (CaCO3) or Dolomite (mineral), dolomite (CaMg(CO3)2) that have recrystallized under the influence of heat and pressure. DoÄŸlat is a village in the İscehisar District, Afyonkarahisar Province, Turkey. Its population is 174 (2021). It is 48 km to the center of Afyonkarahisar and 26 km to the town of Iscehisar and the village has a warm continental climate. The economy of a village depends on agriculture and husbandry.
