Jamshedpur
Jamshedpur (, ), also known as Tatanagar, is a major industrial city in eastern India. It is largest city in the state of Jharkhand and stands as the third largest metropolitan area in the region. With a population of 629,658 in the city limits, the wider metropolitan area is home to around 1.3 million people. Located on the confluence of Swarnarekha and Kharkai rivers, Jamshedpur is surrounded by picturesque promenade Dalma Hills. The modern city of Jamshedpur was established in 1912. It was named after industrialist Jamshedji Tata, who laid foundation of Asia's first steel plant in the city and established Tata Group. The city played active role in the World War I. Dhalbhumgarh Airport
Dhalbhumgarh Airport (IATA: none, ICAO: none) is a proposed domestic airport, which will serve the city of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. It will be built on a former World War II era airfield in Dhalbhumgarh in East Singhbhum district, about from Jamshedpur. The Government of Jharkhand and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the construction of the airport on 24 January 2019. Under the MoU, a joint venture company would be set up to construct the airport. The project was initially expected to be completed by December 2020. Due to delays and the COVID-19 pandemic, the airport was expected to open by 2022, but construction had not started yet. However, In December 2022, land acquisition for a 3.5 km link road connecting to the airport has started. Sonari Airport , also known as Jamshedpur Airport, is a domestic airport in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, owned by Tata Steel. It is located approximately from the city centre. Kurmali Language
Kurmali or Kudmali (ISO: Kuṛmāli) is an Indo-Aryan language classified as belonging to the Bihari group of languages spoken in eastern India. As a trade dialect, it is also known as Panchpargania (Bengali: পঞ্চপরগনিয়া), for the "five parganas" of the region it covers in Jharkhand.
