Carrara Sports And Leisure Centre
Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose arena and sports facility located at Carrara on Queensland's Gold Coast in Australia, capable of seating 5,000 fans. The centre is located adjacent to the Carrara Indoor Stadium and forms part of the Gold Coast Sports Precinct. A section of the centre also serves as a sports administration and indoor training facility for the Gold Coast Suns with the facility being called the Austworld Centre under a naming rights partnership, who play home matches and train outdoors at the adjacent Carrara Stadium and training oval. Constructed for use in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre hosted badminton, powerlifting, weightlifting and wrestling competitions. Vinesh Phogat (born 25 August 1994) is an Indian wrestler. She became the first Indian woman wrestler to win gold in both Commonwealth and Asian Games. Korey Jarvis (born October 4, 1986) is a Canadian wrestler who most notably won a gold medal in the 125 kg category in men’s freestyle wrestling at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Sumit Malik
Sumit Malik (born 9 January 1993) is a freestyle wrestler from India who competes in 125 kg category. He was gold medallist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He has also been silver medalist at both the Asian Wrestling Championships and the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship in 2017. Mausam Khatri (born 10 December 1990) is a freestyle wrestler from India. He was a bronze medallist in the 2010 Asian Games. He has also been Commonwealth champion twice, along with being the winner of gold medal in the 2016 South Asian Games. Khatri made his international debut in 2006 at the cadet level.
