The Winnipeg Challenger, currently sponsored as Winnipeg National Bank Challenger, is a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hardcourt, hard courts. It is currently part of the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Women's Circuit. It has been held annually in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, since 2013 for women and since 2016 for men. Winnipeg () is the capital and largest city of the province of Manitoba in Canada. Blaž Kavčič (born 5 March 1987) is a Slovenian former professional tennis player. He was the highest ranked Slovenian male player ever, achieving a career-high of World No. 68 in August 2012, until Aljaž Bedene began to play for Slovenia again in January 2018, overtaking him with a career high ranking of 49. He became the first Slovenian ATP singles player to: achieve a Top 100 ranking, win a Grand Slam main draw match and perform at the Summer Olympics. Kristie Hyerim Ahn (born June 15, 1992) is an American former professional tennis player. She has won seven singles titles and two doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On 30 September 2019, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 87. Her first appearance at a Grand Slam tournament was at the age of 16 at the 2008 US Open. Erin Hope Routliffe (born April 11, 1995) is a New Zealand professional tennis player who previously represented Canada. She reached a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 29 on 8 August 2022 and a career-high junior rank of No. 17 on 21 January 2013. She studied at the University of Alabama and was part of their tennis team from September 2013 until her graduation in May 2017, majoring in public relations. Francesca Di Lorenzo (; born July 22, 1997) is an American tennis player. She played collegiately for the ''Ohio State University''. On May 29, 2017, Di Lorenzo and her partner Miho Kowase won the NCAA Women's Doubles Championship. Personal life Di Lorenzo was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but raised in Columbus, Ohio, after her family moved there when she was around the age of seven.
