The weightlifting competitions at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Mersin took place between 21 June and 26 June at the Erdemli Sports Hall. Athletes competed in 28 events across 14 weight categories (7 for men and 7 for women). Men's +105 kg category will not be held because too few nations applied. Erdemli Sports Hall
The Erdemli Sports Hall ( tr, Erdemli Spor Salonu) is a multi-sport indoor arena located at Erdemli district of Mersin Province, Turkey. Built in 1979, it is owned by the Youth Services and Sports Directoriate of Mersin. The sports hall has a seating capacity of 750, and hosts basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and some other sports events. The venue hosted the Weightlifting at the 2013 Mediterranean Games, weightlifting events of the 2013 Mediterranean Games on June 21–26. References
