''Way Out West'' is a 1937 Laurel and Hardy comedy film directed by James W. Horne, produced by Stan Laurel, and distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It was the second picture for which Stan Laurel was credited as producer. Plot Stan (Stan Laurel) and Ollie (Oliver Hardy) have been entrusted to deliver the deed of a gold mine to the deceased prospector's daughter Mary Roberts (Rosina Lawrence). Mary works for her cruel unofficial guardians, Brushwood Gulch saloon owner Mickey Finn ( James Finlayson) and his saloon-singer wife, Lola Marcel (Sharon Lynn), who have her trapped in a life akin to that of a slave by forcing her to do all the chores. Marty Stuart
John Marty Stuart (born September 30, 1958) is an American country and bluegrass music singer, songwriter, and musician. Active since 1968, Stuart initially toured with Lester Flatt, and then in Johnny Cash's road band before beginning work as a solo artist in the early 1980s. His greatest commercial success came in the first half of the 1990s on MCA Records Nashville. Stuart has recorded over 20 studio albums, and has charted over 30 times on the '' Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts. His highest chart entry is "The Whiskey Ain't Workin'", a duet with Travis Tritt. Stuart has also won five Grammy Awards out of 16 nominations. ''Radio City'' is the second album by the American rock group Big Star. Released in 1974, ''Radio City'' was recorded during 1973 at Memphis' Ardent Studios. Though not a commercial success at the time, it is now recognized as a milestone album in the history of power pop music. Critically acclaimed upon its release, the record sold poorly, partly due to a lack of promotion and the distribution problems of the band's struggling record label, Ardent Records. The album included "September Gurls" and "Back of a Car", which remain among the most famous Big Star songs; both the Searchers and the Bangles have covered "September Gurls". The record includes the song " The Breaks", which was often sampled later in hip-hop records, mainly for its introduction made by Blow's ''a cappella'' vocal, and for the drum break, giving a wordplay dimension to the title. ''See This Through and Leave'' is the debut album by the Cooper Temple Clause. It was released as a CD, a limited edition double CD, an international CD, and a 7" boxed set, along with two promo CDs. The title of the album comes from a lyric in the track "Murder Song". The liner notes give 'thanks' to Five and Westlife "for their ongoing financial support". This is a humorous reference to the fact that the Cooper Temple Clause shared a record label with the two popular boy bands, who could be seen to have helped finance this album. The Cooper Temple Clause
The Cooper Temple Clause was an English alternative rock band, formed in Wokingham, Berkshire in 1998. The band released three albums before announcing their split on 24 April 2007, following the departure of Daniel Fisher. After signing a record deal with the RCA label in 2000 and putting out several singles and EPs, their debut album, ''See This Through and Leave'', was released in 2002 to critical acclaim. 2003's follow-up, '' Kick Up the Fire, and Let the Flames Break Loose'', achieved the band international recognition on the strength of the singles " Promises, Promises" and " Blind Pilots". Sixteen Tons of Bluegrass is an album by Pete Stanley and Wizz Jones produced by Chas McDevitt, and originally released in the UK1966 on Columbia Records. Wizz & Pete were probably the first British musicians to successfully interpret America's favourite traditional music for UK audiences. The album was also released on the Joker label in Italy as Way Out West, with a different cover design. Wizz Jones is quoted, describing the cover, "I've only seen this once, as I recall the alternative sleeve design is hilarious. A mini-skirted girl is perched on a gate being serenaded by a smart young man in blue jeans!"
