Praboromarajchanok Institute
Praboromarajchanok Institute () is a public higher education institute for production of public health workforce under the Ministry of Public Health in Thailand. It named after the father of modern medicine and public health in Thailand, Prince Mahidol of Songkhla. The institute was initially established in 1993 by Royal Decree as the "Institute for Health Workforce Development" () under the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health which later renamed it as "Praboromarajchanok Institute" in 1995. The institute aims to produce and develop a workforce to serve the shortage of healthcare personnel of the Ministry of Public Health, educate and promote academic and profession, teach, research, provide social services, as well as to support religion, arts, culture, environment, and sports. Burapha University
Burapha University (BUU) ( Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา) is one of Thailand's public universities. It is in the coastal town of Saen Suk, near the beach of Bangsaen in Chonburi province. It was established on 8 July 1955, originating from Bangsaen Educational College which was the first regional tertiary educational institute. The university offers degrees in more than 50 programs of study, including 75 master's programs, three EdD programs, and 22 PhD programs. Mahidol University
Mahidol University (Mahidol), an autonomous research institution in Thailand, had its origin in the establishment of Siriraj Hospital in 1888. Mahidol had an acceptance rate for Medicine of 0.4% as of the 2016 academic year. Becoming the University of Medical Science in 1943, it has been recognized as the country's fourth public university. The university was later renamed in 1969 by King Bhumibol Adulyadej after his father, Prince Mahidol of Songkhla, the "Father of Modern Medicine and Public Health of Thailand". The university originally focused on health sciences but expanded to other fields in recent decades. It hosted Thailand's first medical school, the Siriraj Medical School. Ubon Ratchathani ( th, อุบลราชธานี, ) is one of the four major cities of Isan (with Khorat/ Nakhon Ratchasima, Udon Thani, and Khon Kaen), also known as the "big four of Isan." Chonburi Province
