Uludere District
Uludere District is a district of the Şırnak Province of Turkey. In 2021, the district had a population of 44,924. The seat of the district is the town of Uludere. Its area is 841 km2. The district was formed in 1957. Population Around 90% of the district is populated by Kurds from the Goyan tribe. The Kaşuran tribe also reside in the district. Beytüşşebap ( ku, Elkî) is a town and seat of Beytüşşebap District of Şırnak Province in Turkey. Silopi
Silopi ( ku, Silopî) is a city and district of Şırnak Province in Turkey's Southeastern Anatolia Region, close to the borders of Iraq and Syria. The majority of its people are of ethnic Kurds. The district, composed of Silopi center, three townships with their own municipalities, and 23 villages, has an urban population of 73,400 (2009 census). Şırnak ( ku, شرنەخ, Şirnex) is a town in southeastern Turkey. It is the capital of Şırnak Province, a new province that split from the Mardin and Siirt provinces. Hakkâri Province (, tr, Hakkâri ili, ku, Parêzgeha Colemêrgê), is a province in the southeast of Turkey. The administrative centre is the city of Hakkâri. The province covers an area of 7,121 km² and had a population of 286,470 in 2018. Yemişli (; syr, Margā) is a village in the Uludere District of Şırnak Province in Turkey. The village is populated by Kurds of the Goyan tribe and had a population of 2,405 in 2021. The hamlet of Yekmal is attached to Yemişli. History Margā (today called Yemişli) was inhabited by 760 Chaldean Catholic Assyrians in 1913 and had one church and one priest as part of the diocese of Zakho.
