Triathlon competitions at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile are scheduled to be held between November 2 and 4, 2023 at El Sol Beach in Viña del Mar. Three medal events will be contested, one individual event per gender and one mixed relay. A total of 72 triathletes will compete in the Games. Qualification A total of 72 triathletes (36 per gender) will qualify to compete. A nation may enter a maximum of 6 triathletes (three per gender), with the exception of the winners of the 2021 Junior Pan American Games. The host nation (Chile) automatically qualified four athletes (two per gender). All other nations will qualify through various qualifying tournaments and rankings. A maximum five nations could enter the maximum of 3 triathletes per gender. In 2016, the International Olympic Committee made several changes to its sports program, which were subsequently implemented for these games. Included in this was the addition of the triathlon mixed relay event. Medal table Medalists Qualification A total of 70 triathletes (35 per gender) will qualify to compete. A nation may enter a maximum of 6 triathletes (three per gender). The host nation (Peru) automatically qualified four athletes (two per gender). All other nations qualified through various qualifying tournaments and rankings. A further three invitational slots, per gender, were also awarded. A maximum five nations could enter the maximum of 6 triathletes. The triathlon competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to run from 30 July to 5 August at Pont d'Iéna, featuring a total of 110 athletes who will compete in each of the men's and women's events. After a hugely successful Tokyo 2020, the mixed relay competition remains in the triathlon program for the second time at the Olympics. Format The Olympic triathlon contains three components; a swim, cycle, and a run. The competitions take the form of a single event between all competitors with no heats. Emy Legault (born April 5, 1996) is a Canadian triathlete from L'Île-Perrot, Quebec. Career Legault made her debut 2015 World Triathlon Cup in Montérégie, finishing in 55th. As part of the 2022 World Triathlon Cup, Legault won a silver medal in the stop in Huatulco, Mexico.
