Toleman Formula One Drivers
Toleman Motorsport was a Formula One List of Formula One constructors, constructor based in the United Kingdom, UK. It participated in Formula One between 1981 and 1985, competing in 70 list of Formula One Grands Prix, Grands Prix. Today, it is best known for giving Ayrton Senna his Formula One debut. The team was generally uncompetitive during its short lifetime, prompting Senna to leave after just one year. However, several of its engineers, including Rory Byrne and Pat Symonds, stayed with the team after its sale to the Benetton Group and eventually built the organisation into the title-winning Benetton Formula. As such, Toleman is the progenitor of the racing lineage informally known as "Team Enstone." In endurance racing (motorsport), endurance racing, Johansson won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in with Joest Racing, Joest. Born and raised in Växjö, Johansson began his career in kart racing, winning the Swedish Karting Championship, Swedish Championship in 1973. 1976 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 1976 24 Hours of Le Mans was the 44th Grand Prix of Endurance, and took place on 12 and 13 June 1976. This year the FIA introduced its new Group 5 (racing)#4th Generation Group 5 – “Special Production Cars” (1976 to 1982), Group 5 and Group 6 (racing), Group 6 regulations and the race was now open to nine distinct classes, although it was still not part of the World Championship seasons.
