Taymyrsky Dolgano-Nenetsky District (russian: Таймы́рский Долга́но-Не́нецкий райо́н) is an administrativeLaw #10-4765 and municipalLaw #2-54 district (raion), one of the forty-three in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Taymyr Dolgano-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (russian: Таймы́рский Долга́но-Не́нецкий автоно́мный о́круг, '; Enets: Таймыр Оша-Дюрак район, Nenets: Таймыр Долганы-Ненэцие район), was a federal subject of Russia (an autonomous okrug of Krasnoyarsk Krai), the northernmost in Siberian Russia (and thus North Asia). Taymyr Nature Reserve
Taymyr Nature Reserve (russian: Таймырский заповедник) (also Taimyrsky) is a Russian 'zapovednik' (strict nature reserve) located in the northern lowlands of Siberia, on the Taimyr Peninsula, and on the coast of the Laptev Sea of the Arctic Ocean. The reserve includes the most northern forest of Dahurian larch in the world, and also the most northern mainland mountain range in the world. The protected area was established to protect the breeding grounds of the Red-breasted goose (Branta ruficollis) as well as the summer residences of wild reindeer (Rangifer tarandus) and the biodiversity of the Lake Taymyr. Snezhnogorsk (russian: Снежногорск) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) under the administrative jurisdiction of Tsentralny City District of the krai city of Norilsk in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. History Snezhnogorsk was founded in 1963 as a settlement for the workers building the Ust-Khantaika hydroelectric plant. Snezhnogorsk got its name during construction, when the first house built was covered with snow up to the roof. The status of an urban-type settlement has been granted in 1964. The city-forming enterprise is Ust-Khantai Hydroelectric Power Station with a capacity of 451 MW. Transportation Snezhnogorsk is a remote settlement with no ground transport available to reach it.
