Bob Jackson (swimmer)
Robert Scott Jackson (born March 5, 1957) is an American former competition swimmer who represented the United States at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. Craig Beardsley
Craig Russell Beardsley (born 1960) is an American former competition swimmer who was a world record-holder in the 200-meter butterfly for three years in the early 1980s. Although he qualified as a member of the ill-fated 1980 U.S. Olympic Team, Beardsley could not compete in the Olympics because of the U.S. boycott of the Moscow Summer Olympic Games. Clay Evans (swimmer)
Clayton T. Evans (born October 28, 1953) is a Canadian former competition swimmer and Olympic silver medalist. Evans represented Canada at the 1972 and 1976 Olympics. At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, Evans competed in the qualifying heats of the men's 100-metre backstroke and the men's 200-metre individual medley, but did not advance. After the 1972 Olympics, Evans attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he swam for the UCLA Bruins swimming team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Pacific-10 Conference competition from 1973 to 1976. As a Bruin swimmer, he won the Pac-10 individual championships in the 100-yard butterfly in 1973, 1974 and 1976. Dan Thompson (swimmer)
Dan Thompson (born June 15, 1956) is a Canadians, Canadian retired swimmer. He competed in the butterfly swimming, butterfly events during the 1970s and early 1980s. He was supposed to represent his native country at the 1980 Summer Olympics, but didn't start due to the international boycott of the Moscow Olympic Games. Pablo Restrepo (born May 26, 1960 in Medellín) is a former Colombian breaststroke swimmer. He competed for his native country at three consecutive Olympics (1980–88). As of May 2009, his is the only Colombian to ever reach an Olympic Swimming Final. He attended college in the United States at Southern Illinois University. He participated in the Central American and Caribbean Games in his native Medellin (1978), but it was his participation in the 1979 Pan American Games in San Juan, Puerto Rico that showed his capacity, where he won a bronze medal in 200-metre breaststroke. In 1980, he swam at the Moscow Olympics, where he became the first Colombian swimmer to reach an Olympic Final: in the 100-metre final. Graham Smith (Canadian Swimmer)
Donald Graham Smith (born May 9, 1958) is a Canadian former competition swimmer who won a silver medal in the men's 4x100-metre medley relay at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. He did so alongside teammates Stephen Pickell, Clay Evans and Gary MacDonald. His brother George and sister Becky also competed in swimming. At the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Alberta, he became the first competitor to win six gold medals at a single Commonwealth Games; he won the 100- and 200-metre breaststroke, 200- and 400-metre individual medleys, and was part of the winning 4x100-metre freestyle and 4x100-metre medley relay teams. Smith twice broke the world record in the men's 200-metre individual medley (long course). He also won an NCAA national swimming championship at the University of California, Berkeley. Steve Lundquist
Stephen K. Lundquist (born February 20, 1961) is an American former competition swimmer who is an Olympic gold medalist and former world record-holder. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, he won gold medals in the 100-meter breaststroke and the 400-meter medley relay. Lundquist was the first swimmer to break two minutes in the 200-yard breaststroke, and won every 100-yard breaststroke event he entered from 1980 to 1983. At age 17 he broke his first world record and in his career he set new world and American records on 15 occasions. Jesús David "Jesse" Vassallo Anadón (born August 9, 1961) is a former competition swimmer and world record-holder who participated in the 1984 Summer Olympics for the United States. In 1997, he became the first Puerto Rican to be inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame. From 2004 to 2009, he served as the president of the Puerto Rican National Swimming Federation (''Federación Puertorriqueña de Natación'').
