Charles Sturridge
Charles B. G. Sturridge (born 24 June 1951) is an English director and screenwriter. He is the recipient of a BAFTA Children's Award and four BAFTA TV Awards. He has also been nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards. Early life and education Sturridge was born in London, England, to Alyson P. (née Burke, later Williams) and Jerome F. Sturridge. He was educated at Stonyhurst College and University College, Oxford. Career Sturridge began his career as an actor. Matilda Alyson Faith Rosenblatt (née Sturridge) is an English actress. Early life One of three siblings, Tom Sturridge and Arthur, she is the only daughter of film director Charles Sturridge and actress Phoebe Nicholls. She attended Harrodian School in Barnes along with other actors such as Robert Pattinson and Jack Whitehall, and then received training at RADA. Daniel Andre Sturridge (; born 1 September 1989) is an English professional footballer who last played as a striker. As well as representing England, he has played in the Premier League for Manchester City, Chelsea, Bolton Wanderers, Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion, and he has also played for Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor. Dean Constantine Sturridge (born 26 July 1973) is an English former professional footballer and football commentator for beIN Sports. As a player, he was a striker who notably played in the Premier League for Derby County, Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Michael Alexander Sturridge (born 18 September 1962) is an English former footballer who played as a forward. Originally on the books of Birmingham City, he did not make a professional appearance for the club and only played a handful of games for Wrexham and Nuneaton Borough before retiring. He later became a youth football scout. Playing career Sturridge made four appearances in the English Football League whilst on loan from Birmingham City at Welsh club Wrexham. Simon Andrew Sturridge (born 9 December 1969) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. He made more than 250 appearances in the Football League for Birmingham City, Stoke City, Blackpool, Northampton Town and Shrewsbury Town. Career Sturridge was born in Birmingham and joined home-town club Birmingham City as a trainee in 1985 and turned professional in 1988. He played 186 games in all competitions for the club and scored the first goal of the 1991 Football League Trophy Final in which Birmingham beat Tranmere Rovers 3–2.
