Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski, is a Polish football club based in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland. History The club was founded in 1947. In the 1991–92 Polish Cup, they reached the semi-finals. In 1997, the club was relegated from the III liga, currently known as the II liga, which forced them to withdraw from the IV liga, now known as the III liga, for a year due to a horrible financial situation. On 30 April 2011, the club was officially dissolved, the reason was financial problems and mainly not being able to pay the staff and players' wages. The 1991–92 Polish Cup was the thirty-eighth season of the annual Polish football knockout tournament. It began on 24 July 1991 with the first matches of the preliminary round and ended on 24 June 1992 with the Final. The winners qualified for the first round of the 1992–93 European Cup Winners' Cup. GKS Katowice were the defending champions, having won their 2nd title in the previous season. II liga (Druga Liga, ), currently named eWinner II liga due to sponsorship reasons by eWinner, is a Polish football league that sits at the third tier of the Polish football league system. The 2010–11 I liga was the 63rd season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 3rd season of the Polish I liga under its current title.
