is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the Traditional districts of Norway, traditional district of Hedemarken. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Stangebyen. Stange Church
Stange Church ( no, Stange kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Stange Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located about west of the village of Stangebyen. It is the church for the Stange parish which is part of the Hamar domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, stone church was built in a partial cruciform design in the middle of the 13th century using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 400 people. History The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to the year 1225 when it was mentioned in the book ''Hákonar saga Hákonarsonar''. The first church in Stange was a stone building that was constructed during the 12th century. There is some evidence that a wooden post church was on the site during the 11th century. Ottestad is a village in Stange Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village centre is located about north of the village of Stangebyen and about south of the village of Bekkelaget, Innlandet, Bekkelaget. The whole northern part of Stange, surrounding the village centre, is often referred to as Ottestad as well. Ottestad Church is located in the village.
