Sportfreunde Baumberg is a German amateur football club from the neighbourhood of Baumberg in Monheim am Rhein, North Rhine-Westphalia. Founded in 1962, the team plays in the Oberliga Niederrhein in the fifth tier of the German football league system. History As the winners of the 2013 Lower Rhine Cup, the club played in the 2013–14 DFB-Pokal. In the first round on 3 August, it lost 4–1 at home to FC Ingolstadt 04 of the 2. Bundesliga. After three seasons in the tier five Oberliga Niederrhein, the club was relegated to the Landesliga Niederrhein (tier six) at the end of the 2014–15 season but bounced back immediately with a league championship and promotion there. Vereinigte Breslauer Sportfreunde was a German association football club from what was at the time the city of Breslau, Lower Silesia in Germany and is today Wroclaw, Poland. The club was established in 1919 through the merger of predecessor sides '' SC Preußen Breslau'' and ''Verein Breslauer Sportfreunde''. They dominated play in the regional Südostdeutschland league in the period immediately following World War I. __TOC__ History Sportclub Preußen Breslau was established 15 December 1902 and made a single appearance in the regional Südostdeutschland (I) championship round in 1913. After qualifying through a 1–0 victory over Britannia Posen they went on to face Askania Forst in a semifinal contest. They lost the match 2–1, but the result was annulled and the game replayed. Eisbachtaler Sportfreunde is a German association football club based in Nentershausen, Rhineland-Palatinate. __TOC__ History Eisbachtaler Sportfreunde were formed in 1966 as a merger of local teams SC Großholbach, TuS Girod-Kleinholbach, VfR Nomborn, TuS Heilberscheid and TuS Nentershausen. The oldest of these clubs was founded in 1919, which is recognized as the official founding year. Eisbachtal immediately began their rise through the league system and eventually reached the Regionalliga Südwest in 1972, then the second-highest tier in German football. Due to the introduction of the 2. Bundesliga in 1974, the club was relegated to the Amateurklasse. Sportfreunde Köllerbach is a German association football club from the district of Köllerbach in Püttlingen, Saarland. __TOC__ History The club was founded in 1931 and played as an unheralded local side until breaking through to the Verbandsliga Saarland (V) in 2002 on the strength of a Landesliga Südwest (VI) title. ''Köllerbach'' enjoyed continued success on promotion to the Verbandsliga Saarland, immediately winning their way to the Oberliga Südwest (IV). The club stumbled in their first season in fourth-tier play and was sent down in 2005, but returned to the Oberliga two seasons later. VfL Sportfreunde Lotte is a German association football club from Lotte, North Rhine-Westphalia. The football team is part of a sports club with approximately 1400 members and departments for handball, walking, gymnastics, and swimming, as well as other activities. History The association was established as the gymnastics club ''Turnverein Lotte'' in 1929. After World War II the club was re-established as ''VfL Sportfreunde Lotte'' on 9 February 1946 and was built around football and handball departments. ''Lotte'' reached the Verbandsliga Westfalen (V) in 1996 and after a title there in 2004 were promoted to the Oberliga Westfalen (IV), later Regionalliga West. The Sportfreunde Ricklingen is a German association football club from the Ricklingen suburb of Hanover, Lower Saxony. The club's greatest success has been to earn promotion to the tier three Regionalliga Nord in 1996, where it played for three seasons. The club has also made two appearances in the first round of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup. History The club was formed in 1906 as the Freie Turner Ricklingen. The club was outlawed by the Nazis in 1933 but reformed in 1945, now under the current name Sportfreunde Ricklingen. In 1958 the club won promotion to the highest football league in Lower Saxony, the tier two Amateur-Oberliga Niedersachsen and played at this level until 1964 when the league was reduced from two to one division. Historically the club has been a strong side in Saarbrücken, playing at highest level, and even applying for Fußball-Bundesliga membership in 1963. Sportfreunde Siegen is a German association football club based in Siegen, North Rhine-Westphalia. After going through insolvency in 2008, the first team was forcibly relegated to the fifth-tier NRW-Liga. Promotion to fourth division Regionalliga West was accomplished in 2012, but the club continued to struggle while going back and forth between fourth and fifth league play. In 2017, the club had to file for insolvency for a second time. The club’s home ground is the Leimbachstadion, an arena that can host up to 18,500 people. The Sportfreunde Stuttgart is a German association football club from the city of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. History 1874 to 1945 The club was formed, as a gymnastics club, on 18 April 1874, under the name of Turnverein Heslach. In June 1889, the club changed its name to Turnverein Karlsvorstadt. On 20 June 1896, a separate football club, the Fußballclub Karlsvorstadt, was formed. In 1900, it merged with two other clubs, the ''F.C. Adler'' and the ''F.C. Askania'' to form the Stuttgarter Sportfreunde 1896. The club was a founding member of the Südkreis-Liga in 1908, then the highest level of play in the Baden-Württemberg region.
