The Speedway Ekstraliga ( en, Polish Extraleague, pl, Ekstraliga żużlowa) is the top division of motorcycle speedway in Poland. It has been called the "richest and most popular speedway league in the world", and attracts riders from all over the world. Tarnów
Tarnów () is a city in southeastern Poland with 105,922 inhabitants and a metropolitan area population of 269,000 inhabitants. The city is situated in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship since 1999. From 1975 to 1998, it was the capital of the Tarnów Voivodeship. Gorzów Wielkopolski
Gorzów Wielkopolski (; german: Landsberg an der Warthe) often abbreviated to Gorzów Wlkp. or simply Gorzów, is a city in western Poland, on the Warta river. It is the second largest city in the Lubusz Voivodeship with 120,087 inhabitants (December 2021) and one of its two capitals with a seat of a voivode, with the other being Zielona Góra. Klub Motorowy Ostrów Wielkopolski (''Motor Club Ostrów Wielkopolski'') was a Polish motorcycle speedway team based in Ostrów Wielkopolski who currently race in First League (2nd division). The club never won Team Polish Champion title. They folded in 2009 and the town's speedway tradition are now continued by ŻKS Ostrovia Ostrów Wielkopolski.
