Spacetoon
Spacetoon ( or ) is a pan-Arab free-to-air television channel that specializes in animation and children programs. It began broadcasting on 15 March 2000 in Bahrain TV, and it is currently headquartered in Dubai. The channel targets children from 4 and up. Its late night block Space Power is targeted at teenagers and young adults. The Spacetoon company also maintains a video-on-demand app called Spacetoon Go. It is informally referred to as Stoon. The Spacetoon company has had two now-defunct channels in the Arab world, Space Power TV and Spacetoon English. In Indonesia, the main channel began airing on 24 March 2005 in Jakarta. It later became NET., and its broadcast remains on satellite television. Currently, there are two Spacetoon channels in Indonesia: Spacetoon and Spacetoon Plus. Spacetoon India
Spacetoon India is an Indian media and licensing company. It was established in 2006. Spacetoon has more than 70 licensing deals, including for Crayon Shin-chan, Doraemon and Hello Kitty. The company also creates original intellectual property, including ''Fafa & Juno''. In November 2005, Spacetoon partnered with Sahara One to create ''Spacetoon Hour'', an hour-long broadcast of animated and live action series culled from SpaceToon Media Group's library. The broadcast was later cancelled. In 2009, Spacetoon launched a free-to-air channel in India. Broadcasting was later discontinued. Spacetoon has sister channels in the Spacetoon, Arab world. PT MDTV Media Televisi (MDTV, formerly known as NET. and Spacetoon Indonesia) is an Indonesian national private television broadcaster owned by MDTV Media Technologies and Industri Mitra Media under the auspices of MD Entertainment. This television network conducted a trial broadcast as NET. on 18 May 2013 and was officially launched on 26 May 2013 at 19:00 WIB by replacing the terrestrial feed of Spacetoon Indonesia. In March 2013, the company acquired PT Televisi Anak Spacetoon (Spacetoon) by purchasing 95% of its shares before the company was wholly acquired in May 2013. Space Power TV
Space Power (SPTV) (Arabic: سبيس باور or سبيسباور) is a former teens-adults Arab TV channel & a still active programming block featuring anime programs targeted at the teens & adults audience, ages 13 to 19. Based in Damascus, Syria, the channel began experimental broadcasting on 8 March 2008 and officially launched on 31 October with content based by Spacetoon in United Arab Emirates, UAE and from the Venus Center company in Syria. On 14 May 2011, it renamed itself to SPTV, before shutting down in April 2014. On 16 November 2016, Space Power returned as a programming block in the Spacetoon channel starting from 10:30 pm Mecca time until midnight and displaying all the dubbing works in its favor with the exchange of logos between Space Power and Spacetoon every ten seconds. Bahrain Radio and Television Corporation (BRTC; ) is a public broadcaster in Bahrain with headquarters in Manama.
