Southeastern College is a private institution of higher learning with campuses in Miami Lakes and West Palm Beach, Florida. Southeastern College is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and licensed by the Commission for Independent Education (CIE), Florida Department of Education. History Southeastern College was founded in 1988 as Cruise Career Training Institute with a specialization in training students and employees for careers in the travel industry. In 1997, the school expanded its career education offerings to include academic programs in business, computer science, and allied health. It is affiliated with the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary ( Southern Baptist Convention). Southeastern Bible College was a private Christian Bible college in Birmingham, Alabama. The school's 22-acre campus was located in the suburbs south of the downtown Birmingham area. It was accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education. Southeastern Christian College
Southeastern Christian College provided a two-year liberal arts degree and a three-year degree in biblical studies in Winchester, Kentucky from 1957 to 1979. Following its closure, the college formed a non-profit in 1983, the Southeastern Christian Education Corporation, to provide scholarships to students from a list of Churches of Christ congregations. History The origins of Southeastern Christian College began in 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky. It was first incorporated as “Kentucky Bible College” on March 23, 1950 at 2500 Portland Ave, Louisville, KY. Southeastern Free Will Baptist College is a college of the Free Will Baptist denomination located in Wendell, North Carolina. It was started in Virginia Beach, Virginia at Gateway FWB Church. Jim Marcum took over as President of the college in 2012, replacing Dr. Lorenza Stox. Jeff Jones is Chairman of the Board of Directors. Southeastern Community College is a public community college in Iowa with two campuses, one in Burlington and one in Keokuk. History Southeastern Community College was formed in 1967 with the merging of two local colleges: Burlington Junior College, founded in 1920, and Keokuk Community College, founded in 1953.
