''Showtime'' is a 2002 American buddy cop action comedy film directed by Tom Dey. The film stars Robert De Niro and Eddie Murphy in the lead roles alongside Rene Russo, William Shatner, Pedro Damian and De Niro's real life daughter Drena De Niro. The film was released in the United States on March 15, 2002. The film received generally negative reviews, with critics lamenting its lackluster humour and poor attempt to satirize the buddy cop genre. It received two nominations at the 23rd Golden Raspberry Awards: Worst Actor (for Murphy), and Worst Screen Combo (for Murphy and DeNiro). ''Showtime'' is the seventh studio album by American musician James Brown. The album was released in April 1964, by Smash Records. It was the transition album from King Records to Smash Records, however, limited by contractual obligations with King Records, Brown released an album of remakes overdubbed with canned applause. Brown's vocal group, The Famous Flames are included in the album's introduction, are featured on the album's cover, and are featured on several of the album's tracks including "Don't Cry Baby", "Out of the Blue" and "Caldonia". The album was arranged by Sammy Lowe. In mid 2018, some 54 years ''after'' its original 1964 release on vinyl, this album, ''Showtime'' by James Brown & The Famous Flames, was released on CD for the first time. ''Changing Tune'' is the third studio album and major label debut by English rock band Lower Than Atlantis. Preceded by the non-album single "If the World Was to End", the band went on their first ever headlining tour in the UK in January 2012. Background Lower Than Atlantis released "If the World Was to End" as a single in January 2012. The song was produced by John Mitchell, who bassist Dec Hart and drummer Eddy Thrower had known for longer than the rest of the band. Following this, they went on their first headline tour in the UK. The Detroit Emeralds are an American R&B/soul vocal group, best known in the early 1970s. They enjoyed a run of successful records in the decade including their 1973 transatlantic hit single, "Feel the Need in Me". Career "The Emeralds" were formed as a vocal harmony group in Little Rock, Arkansas, and originally composed of four brothers, Ivory (September 14, 1941 – September 13, 2014), Abrim (January 12, 1945 – July 6, 1982), Cleophus and Raymond Tilmon. After Cleophus and Raymond left, the remaining Tilmon brothers were joined by childhood friend, James Mitchell. TV-2 (band)
TV-2 (stylized as ·2) is a Danish pop rock band group formed in 1981 in Aarhus. The group is composed of Steffen Brandt, Hans Erik Lerchenfeld, Georg Olesen, and Sven Gaul. Having released 19 studio albums, four live albums and three compilations, they are one of the most commercially successful Danish bands of all time - according to the band's own sales figures, they have sold more than two million records. TV-2 was formed prior to the Danish television station TV 2, which began broadcasting in 1988. The band was originally called Taurus with lyrics sung in English. Taurus released a single album, ''Whatever Happened To The Sixties'', in 1978. Taurus changed their name to TV-2 in 1981, and begun singing in Danish at the same time.
