Shaheen Asmayee (Persian: ) or Asmayee Falcons is a professional football club from Afghanistan. It last played in the Afghan Premier League, representing greater Kabul. The club has won a record 5 Afghan Premier League titles. They are the only team to have won consecutive titles, having achieved that twice. In 2017, they became the first Afghan club to compete in the AFC Cup. History The club was founded in August 2012, coinciding with the creation of the Afghan Premier League. Its players were chosen through a reality television show called Maidan-E-Sabz (Green Field). Each Premier League team represents a particular region of Afghanistan. Shaheen Asmayee represents the capital city, Kabul. The club is named after Asmayi Mountain near Kabul. Ghazi Stadium
Ghazi Stadium (; ) is a multi-purpose stadium located southeast of the Shahr-e Naw neighborhood in Kabul, Afghanistan, across from Chaman-e-Hozori and Eidgah Mosque. The stadium is mainly used for local football training and matches. Nearby are the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee, the Afghanistan Football Federation Stadium, the Kabul International Cricket Stadium, and other grounds and facilities for sports. Ghazi Stadium was built during the reign of King Amanullah Khan in 1923, who is regarded as ''Ghazi'' (Hero) for the Afghan victory in the Third Anglo-Afghan War and gaining independence for his nation after the Anglo-Afghan Treaty of 1919. It was last renovated in 2011. The stadium has the capacity to accommodate 25,000 spectators. Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup (), also known as Sheikh Kamal Gold Cup, is a biennial international club association football, football tournament held in Bangladesh.
