Serbian League
The Serbian League () is the third level football league in Serbia. It consists of four groups, namely Belgrade, East, Vojvodina, and West. The winner of each group earns promotion to the Serbian First League. History 1992–1995 In the summer of 1992, following the dissolution of Yugoslavia, the Serbian League became one of the two leagues (together with the Montenegrin League) that replaced the Yugoslav Third League, serving as the third level of newly formed league system in Serbia and Montenegro (then known as FR Yugoslavia). It was divided into three groups: * Serbian League East * Serbian League North * Serbian League West 1995–2003 In the summer of 1995, after the initial three seasons, the league expanded from three to six groups. Serbian League North () was one of the sections of the Serbian League, serving as the third level football league in FR Yugoslavia between 1992 and 1995. GFK Jasenica 1911 (Serbian Cyrillic: ГФК Јасеница 1911) is a football club from Smederevska Palanka, Serbia. The club currently competes in the Podunavlje-Šumadija Zone League. History Founded on 3 September 1911, the club was originally called PSK (Palanački sport klub). The word "Jasenica" (after the river of the same name) was added to the name in 1922, making it PSK Jasenica. After the merger with Radnički in 1962, the club was renamed to Mladost. The club later became known as Mladost- Goša due to sponsorship reasons. In 2005, the club was refounded as GFK Jasenica 1911 (Gradski fudbalski klub). FK Milicionar
FK Milicionar () is a defunct football club based in Makiš, Belgrade, Serbia. History Founded in 1946, the club was operated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They won the Second League of FR Yugoslavia (Group East) in 1998, thus earning promotion to the First League. The club spent the next three seasons in the top flight, before finishing bottom of the table in 2000–01. They subsequently merged with Radnički Obrenovac, which continued to compete in the 2001–02 Second League of FR Yugoslavia. FK Radnički Pirot () is a football club based in Pirot, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. History The club was founded immediately after World War II in 1945. They made their Yugoslav Second League debut in the 1969–70 campaign. Over the next 12 seasons, the club competed in the second tier of Yugoslav football, before being relegated in 1981. They were promoted back the following year and played another six seasons in the Second League (1982–1988), before the competition was reorganized. In the 1975–76 Yugoslav Cup, the club made one of the greatest accomplishments in its history by eliminating Red Star Belgrade to reach the quarter-finals, eventually losing to Dinamo Zagreb. FK Palilulac Beograd () is a football club based in Krnjača, Belgrade, Serbia. They compete in the Belgrade Inter-Municipal League, the sixth tier of the national league system. History The club was founded as BSK Zlatibor on 15 June 1924. The name was later changed to FK Palilulac in 1928. FK Železnik () is a football club based in Železnik, Belgrade, Serbia. They competed in the First League of Serbia and Montenegro from 1996 to 2005. The club made its solo European appearance in the 2004–05 UEFA Cup and went on to win the Serbia and Montenegro Cup in the same season. FK Budućnost Valjevo () is a defunct football club based in Valjevo, Serbia. History The original club was founded as SK Sloga in 1920. They were, however, banned by the authorities after just a year. In 1925, the club continued its activities as RSK Valjevo and was led by some founding members of the previous club.
