The Sendai 89ers (仙台89ERS) are a Japanese professional basketball team that compete in the first division of the B.League. They are based in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. The team name is based on the city's founding year, 1889. Olu Ashaolu
Oluseyi Ashaolu (born April 18, 1988) is a Nigerian-Canadian basketball player. A power forward, Ashaolu played college basketball at Louisiana Tech and Oregon. College career Ashaolu lived in Brampton until 2004, when he made the move to Atlanta for grade 9, to play high school basketball stateside. Ashaolu began his collegiate career at Louisiana Tech, where he averaged 5.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a freshman. He improved those numbers to 10.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Ashaolu averaged 14.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game as a junior. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration in 2011 and decided he did not want to be part of the rebuilding effort under rookie head coach Michael White. On May 24, 2011, Ashaolu announced his transfer to Oregon, choosing the Ducks over Texas, San Diego State and Xavier. Adrian Jamaal Moss (born December 14, 1981) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. Born in Houston, Texas he played college basketball for Florida. He was the captain of the Gators team that won the 2006 NCAA championship. Subsequently, he pursued a professional career, playing in several leagues in Europe, South America and Asia. Early life and career Moss was born in Houston, Texas on December 14, 1981. He played high schoοl basketball for Humble High School, from where he graduated in 2000. Jerome Dieu Donne Meyinsse (born December 18, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Ironi Ness Ziona of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. At a height of 2.08 m (6' 10") tall, he plays at the center position. Greg Mangano
Greg Mangano (born October 28, 1989) is an American basketball player for KTP Basket of Korisliiga. He played college basketball for the Yale Bulldogs. He is known for versatility as a frontcourt player and his polished face up game offensively. High school Mangano attended Notre-Dame West Haven, where he was a two-time all-state player and a two-time all-league selection. His senior year was his best year, as he averaged 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 blocks per game. Travele Andrew Jones (born November 9, 1988) is an American professional basketball player. He was an All-American college player for Texas Southern University. College career Jones came to Texas Southern after two seasons at Cerritos College, a junior college in California. After averaging 13.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as a junior in 2009–10, Jones raised his game in his final season. Nicholas Adam DeWitz (born September 16, 1982, Mesa, Arizona) is an American former professional basketball player. High school In high school, DeWitz attended Dobson High School in Mesa, Arizona. He was nominated for All-America honors and was an all-state selection. Helped Dobson and head coach Rick McConnell to a 28–3 record his senior year.
