It contains only a few whorls. The low protoconch is dome-shaped. The colour is yellow and brown, uniform or variegated. There is no differentiation of the fasciole area. The sculpture consists of obscure radial ribs and faint spiral grooves. The aperture is rather wide and smooth within. The sinus is shallow. The outer lip is simple. The siphonal canal is short and wide, with an everted margin. The columella is concave and twisted. Accessed through: World Register of Marine Species at: http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=599000 on 2018-04-20 Description The length of the shell attains 10 mm, its diameter 4.8 mm. (Original description) The small, ovate, solid shell is slightly turriculate. It shows blunt axial ribs and spiral lirae, maculated with brown and white below the shoulder. The sculpture consists of rather distant, low, rounded axial ribs, nine to ten on the body whorl, extending on the spire whorls from the angle to the suture below, but only over the periphery on the body whorl. They are crossed by subequal, flat, spiral lirae, fine on the shoulder, broad upon the base, separated by linear interstices. The colour of the protoconch is flavescent, the other spire whorls are yellowish or brownish whit ...

Accessed through: World Register of Marine Species at: http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=434882 on 2018-04-19 Description The length of the shell attains 7.5 mm, its diameter 3 mm. (Original description) The small, very solid shell is ovate-oblong and rounded at either end. It contains six whorls, two forming the low protoconch, convex, a little constricted below the suture, which is deeply impressed. It s colour is vinaceous-buff, sometimes with a white zone its own breadth below the suture, and half-a-dozen evenly spaced narrow white lines on the remainder of the whorl. The colour of the columella is terra-cotta, and the aperture orange-cinnamon with a buff zone. Sculpture: in general the shell is smooth. (Original description) The solid, white shell contains 7 whorls, including the blunt protoconch of 2 smooth depressed convex turns. The spire-whorls are sloping, swollen above the linear somewhat undulating suture, and barely swollen below it. The base of the shell is slightly contracted. The aperture is oblong-oval, narrower behind, widely open in front, with a shallow notch. The outer lip is simple, sharp, thickened by a marked varix outside, which ascends roundly at the suture and bounds a shallow, wide posterior sinus. The profile is convex, barely sinused anteriorly.
