SR Brașov
Asociația Club Sportiv SR Municipal Brașov (), commonly known as SR Brașov or simply Brașov, is a Romanian football club based in the city of Brașov, Brașov County, which competes in the Liga III. The team was created in 2017 by the supporters of the original FC Brașov, which was dissolved that year. "SR" stands for ''Steagul Roșu'' ("the Red Flag") or ''Steagul Renaște'' ("Steagul Reborn"). Meanwhile, another entity was founded in 2021 and gained permission to use the FC Brașov brand, although it has a continuity issue and enjoys lower fan support. Cornel Țălnar
Cornel Țălnar (born 9 June 1957) is a Romanian football manager and former player. Club career Cornel Țălnar, nicknamed "Țânțarul" (The Mosquito), was born on 9 June 1957 in Bărăbanț, Alba County and started to play at the junior squads of Unirea Alba Iulia. He played his first Divizia A match on 21 August 1977 representing Dinamo București in a 0–0 against SC Bacău. He spent a total of 8 seasons playing for Dinamo, winning three consecutive Divizia A titles from 1982 until 1984, in the first he contributed with 2 goals scored in 30 matches, in the second he played 23 games and scored 4 goals and in the third he made 30 appearances and scored one goal, he also won two cups and played 27 games and scored 4 goals in European competitions, managing to reach the semi-finals in the 1983–84 European Cup campaign in which he contributed with one goal scored in 7 matches. Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe
Asociația Club Sportiv Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe, commonly known as Sepsi OSK (), Sepsi Sfântu Gheorghe (), or simply Sepsi, is a Romanian professional football club based in Sfântu Gheorghe, Covasna County, that competes in the Liga I. Founded in 2011, it achieved promotion to the top tier in six years by quickly climbing through the Romanian league system. Sepsi thus became the first team from Covasna—a county with a majority of Székely ethnics—to play in the Liga I. It also qualified for two Cupa României finals, in the 2019–20 and 2021–22 Cupa României, 2021–22 seasons, claiming the latter after a 2–1 defeat of FC Voluntari, Voluntari. Liga IV
Liga IV is the fourth level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia D into Liga IV before the start of play for the 2006–07 season. Current format Liga IV has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 4 parallel divisions with the teams finishing first meeting in a play-off to decide the champion. The 2020–21 Liga III was the 65th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began in September 2020 and ended in May 2021. Club Sportiv Municipal Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț, commonly known as Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț () or simply as Ceahlăul, is a Romanian football club based in Piatra Neamț, Neamț County, currently playing in the Liga III. Clubul Sportiv Gaz Metan Mediaș (), commonly known as Gaz Metan Mediaș or simply as Gaz Metan, was a Romanian professional football club based in Mediaș, Sibiu County. Founded in 1945 as ''Karres Mediaș'', the team spent most of its existence in the second division. It also participated in 16 seasons of the Liga I, the highest level of the Romanian league system, and lost a Cupa României final to CCA București in 1951. Clubul Sportiv Municipal Corona Brașov, commonly known as Corona Brașov or simply as Corona, was a Romanian football club based in Brașov, Brașov County. History Corona managed to promote for the very first time in history to the Liga I in June 2013. It advanced from the Liga IV to the Liga I in only four years. Only FC Victoria Brănești succeeded to do so before. The participation in the first league was short-lived. Corona was relegated after only one season. In Liga I, Corona won only two games, against Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț and FC Vaslui. The team finished last, with only 14 points in 34 games, with the weakest attack and the weakest defense lines in the championship. Only days after the end of the season, the mayor of Brașov, George Scripcaru, announced that the football section of the club financed by the mayorship ended its activities. Asociația Suporter Club Oțelul Galați (; ''Galați Steel''), commonly known as Oțelul Galați or simply as Oțelul, is a Romanian football club based in the city of Galați, Galați County, which competes in the Liga II. Founded in 1964 as the team of the Galați steel works, Oțelul spent the first two decades of their existence in the lower leagues. It reached the Liga I for the first time in 1986, and have since amassed 27 seasons in the competition. Oțelul won the league title at the end of the 2010–11 campaign, becoming the first and only Romanian champion from the region of Moldavia to date; this triumph was followed by winning the 2011 Supercupa României.
