The Russian Mixed Curling Championship (russian: Чемпионат России по кёрлингу среди смешанных команд) is the national championship of mixed curling (two men and two women) in Russia. It has been held annually since 2006, organized by Russian Curling Federation. Mixed Curling
This is a glossary of terms in curling. #s During a game, sweepers might call out numbers. These numbers indicate how far the sweepers think the rock in play will travel. This system is relatively new to the game and is often attributed to the Randy Ferbey rink since they were the first major team to use the system, but it is not known whose idea it originally was. 1 to 3 indicates a rock in the free guard zone, 4 to 6 the rings in front of the tee line, 7 being on the button, and 8 to 10 the rings behind the tee line. Sometimes, 11 is used to indicate a stone thrown so that it passes through the house and out of play. Anna Sidorova
Anna Vladimirovna Sidorova (russian: А́нна Влади́мировна Си́дорова; born 6 February 1991) is a Russian curler. She currently skips her own team on the World Curling Tour. Sidorova was the skip of the Russian team that won bronze medals at the World Women's Curling Championships from 2014 to 2016 and the silver medal at the 2017 World Women's Curling Championship. Career As a junior, Sidorova represented Russia at four World Junior Curling Championships (2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012). She won the bronze medal as the skip of the Russian junior team in 2011 and 2012. At the age of 19, Sidorova was named late to the Russian Olympic Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada as the team's third. Nkeirouka Ezekh
Nkeirouka Khilarievna "Kira" Ezekh (russian: Нкеирука (Кира) Хилариевна Езех; born October 17, 1983) is a Russian curler. She currently skips her own team out of Saint Petersburg. The team won the 2022 Russian Curling Championships. She has competed at fifteen World Women's Curling Championships and seventeen European Curling Championships. She won a silver medal at the 2017 World Women's Curling Championship, as well as three bronze medals from 2014 to 2016 as part of the Anna Sidorova rink. Liudmila Privivkova
Liudmila Andreyevna Privivkova (russian: Людмила Андреевна Прививкова) (born 13 September 1986 in Moscow; also spelled Ludmila or Liudmilla, but she spells it Liudmila) is a curler (Skip) from Russia. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, in Turin, Italy, she was the skip for the Russian team. Apart from the national team, she plays for the Moskvitch Curling Club, from Moscow. She won the World Junior Curling Championships in Jeonju, Korea on 19 March 2006 and the 2006 European Curling Championships in December the same year. Her team also qualified for the 2007 World Women's Curling Championship, but did not enjoy the same success as in the European tournament, finishing tied for 8th place with a 4-7 record. She qualified for her third world championship in 2008. Alina Kovaleva
Alina Romanovna Kovaleva (russian: Алина Романовна Ковалёва; born 18 February 1993) is a Russian curler from Saint Petersburg. Her major achievement to date was winning the 2015 European Curling Championships as alternate. Kovaleva is Merited Master of Sports of Russia (2016). Career Kovaleva practiced curling in her school years in her hometown Slantsy. She then moved to St. Petersburg to the Sports School of Olympic Reserve, No. 2. After three years of curling, she and her coach Alexey Tselousov became national champions and silver medalists at the 2011 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. Alexey Tselousov
Alexey Tselousov is a Russian curler from Saint Petersburg. Tselousov has played in eight European Curling Championships (1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2011), skipping all but two (1995 and 2004) when he played second for the Russian team. While playing on the Russian team, his best performance was 2004 when he played second for Alexander Kirikov. The rink finished in 8th place. Tselousov's only international medal came at the 2011 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, where he and partner Alina Kovaleva won the silver medal after losing to Switzerland 11-2 in the final. Petr Dron
Petr Dmitrievich Dron (russian: Пётр Дмитриевич Дрон; born 28 August 1985 in Saint Petersburg) is a Russian curler and curling coach. He lives in St. Petersburg. He competed at the 2013 World Curling Championships, and at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. He currently coaches the Russian men's junior team. Career Dron has been playing on curling competitions since 1996. He finished the Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health. Nationally, Dron won the Federation Cup of Russia (2010–2011), and thrice the Russian Men's Curling Championship (2007, 2011, 2013). Artur Dovlatzhonovich Razhabov (russian: Артур Довлатжонович Ражабов; born 28 April 1989) is a Russian curler from Saint Petersburg. He currently plays second for the Russian national curling team. Anton Igorevich Kalalb (russian: Антон Игоревич Калалб; born March 16, 1988) is a Russian curler from Sochi. Kalalb was a member of the Russian team at the 2010, 2012 and 2014 European Curling Championships. He was the alternate on the Russian team in both 2010 and 2012. At the 2010 European Curling Championships he played in all nine games for the team, which was skipped by Andrey Drozdov and finished 9th. At the 2012 European Curling Championships he would play in three games for the team, which finished fifth. Olga Jarkova
Olga Nikolayevna Jarkova (russian: Óльга Никола́евна Жарко́ва; born January 11, 1979, in Moscow, Soviet Union, USSR) is a Russian curling, curler. She has represented Russia twice at the Winter Olympic Games, Winter Olympics, in Curling at the 2002 Winter Olympics, 2002 and Curling at the 2006 Winter Olympics, 2006. Career Jarkova has been curling for Russia internationally since 1999, when she threw fourth stones for Nina Golovtchenko at the World Junior Challenge where they won silver. She threw third stones that year at a disappointing last place finish in the World Junior Curling Championships. After this, she was back to throwing fourth stones.
