Royal Daring Hockey Club Molenbeek, commonly known as Royal Daring or simply Daring, is a Belgian field hockey club based in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Brussels. Both the first men's and women's team play in the highest division of Belgian hockey. The hockey club Royal Daring was founded on 14 May 1922 as part of the football club R. Daring Club Molenbeek. The men's team have won the Belgian title four times from 1945 until 1949. The men's team reached the semi-finals of the Euro Hockey League in the 2014–15 season. Men's Belgian Hockey League
The Men's Belgian Hockey League is a field hockey league organised by the Royal Belgian Hockey Association. The league was established in 1919 as the Division 1. Between the 2006–07 and the 2015–16 seasons it was known as the Honor Division. Since 2016–17 it has been sponsored by Audi and as it also known as the Audi Hockey League. Sixteen different clubs have won the league with a 28 times record for Léopold. The current champion is Léopold, having won the 2018–19 by defeating Beerschot in the championship final. Format The season usually starts in September and ends around the end of April or the beginning of May. From the 2021–22 season onwards the league is played by twelve teams who play each other twice and who compete for four spots in the championship play-offs. Benjamin Marqué (born 11 August 2000) is a French field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Belgian Hockey League club Royal Daring and the French national team. Club career In club competition, Marqué currently plays for Royal Daring in the Belgian Hockey League. He joined Daring in 2020, before he played for Lille MHC. The Women's Belgian Hockey League is the top women's league competition for field hockey clubs in Belgium. The league is played since the 1921–22 season. Gantoise are the most recent champions having won their fifth title in the 2022–23 season. Format The season usually starts in September and ends around the end of April or the beginning of May. From the 2021–22 season onwards the league is played by twelve teams who play each other twice and who compete for four spots in the championship play-offs. 2014–15 Euro Hockey League
The 2014–15 Euro Hockey League was the eighth season of the Euro Hockey League, Europe's premier club field hockey tournament organized by the European Hockey Federation. Round One was held in Barcelona, Spain from 10 to 12 October 2014 and the knockout stage was held in Bloemendaal, Netherlands from 1 to 6 April 2015. The final was played between UHC Hamburg and Oranje Zwart at HC Bloemendaal in Bloemendaal, Netherlands. Oranje Zwart beat Hamburg 6–5 in a shoot-out to win their first Euro Hockey League title.
