Rovenky
Rovenky ( uk, Ровеньки, translit. ''Roven’ky'', russian: Ровеньки, translit. ''Rovenki'') is a coal mining city in Luhansk Oblast (region) of south-eastern Ukraine. Before 2020 it was incorporated as a city of oblast significance. Population: , . Including the surrounding villages, the total population is close to 84,000 (as of 2011). Young Guard (Soviet Resistance)
The Young Guard (russian: Молодая гвардия, translit. Molodaya gvardiya, uk, Молода гвардія, translit. Moloda hvardiya) was an underground anti-fascist Komsomol organization, in the German-occupied Soviet city of Krasnodon (Ukrainian SSR, now Luhansk Oblast of Ukraine). They were active during World War II, until January 1943. They carried out several acts of sabotage and protest before being destroyed by German forces. Most members of the Young Guard, about 80 people, were tortured and then executed by the Germans. The Tornado is a family of related multiple rocket launchers developed by NPO Splav for the Russian Ground Forces.
