Robinsonekspedisjonen Seasons
''Robinsonekspedisjonen'' is a popular Norwegian reality television program debuting in 1999. In the fall of 1998 TV3 purchased the broadcast rights to air their own version of '' Expedition Robinson''. The name alludes to both '' Robinson Crusoe'' and '' The Swiss Family Robinson'', two stories featuring people marooned by shipwrecks. Norway was one of the first countries to adopt the Robinson format following its success in both Sweden and Denmark. While it has never achieved as high of ratings as that of Denmark and Sweden's versions of the show, it is still considered a ratings success. Following a two year hiatus after the VIP season with Denmark and Sweden, Robinsonekspedisjonen returned in 2007 and has seen a season over season ratings growth since. Charlie Parsons
Charles Andrew Parsons is a British television producer known as the creator of the ''Survivor (franchise), Survivor'' franchise. He also created ''The Big Breakfast'' and ''The Word (TV series), The Word''. Education Parsons was educated at Tonbridge School, a boarding independent school in Tonbridge in Kent in South East England, and credits the tough boarding school regime he endured there in the early 1970s, which at the time was commonplace, as providing an inspiration for his creation of the series ''Survivor''. He then went to Pembroke College, Oxford, Pembroke College at the University of Oxford, where he studied English literature and afterwards trained as a journalist. Christer Falch was the host for the second season of ''Robinsonekspedisjonen'' and has been the host ever since. Therese Andersen won the 2000 season over Ihne Vagmo by an unknown margin in the secret ballot, becoming the first female to win the Norwegian version. ''Robinsonekspedisjonen 2013'' (also known as ''Robinson: Paradise vs. Robinson''), is the thirteenth season of the Norwegian version of the Swedish show ''Expedition Robinson ''Robinson'', formerly ''Expedition Robinson'', is a Swedish reality game show and the original version of the international '' Survivor'' format. The television show places a group of strangers in an isolated location, where they must provid ...''. This season premiered in September 2013 and will finish in early December. The main twist this season is that all the contestants have taken part in a reality show prior to this season. Half of the contestants are veterans from previous seasons of Robinson while the other half are from the reality show Paradise Hotel. The contestants will be split into two tribes based on which format they previously took part in. ''Robinsonekspedisjonen 2011'', is the eleventh season of the Norwegian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson. This season premiered on September 4, 2011 and finished in early December. The main twist this season is that the contestants will be divided into two tribes known as Gamle (Old) and Unge (Young) based on their ages with those in Gamle being age forty and up and those in Unge being under the age of thirty. ''Robinsonekspedisjonen: 2004'', was the sixth season of the Norwegian version of the Swedish show '' Expedition Robinson'' which premiered on 5 September 2004 and aired until 4 December 2004. Season summary The sixth season started with the contestants having to race from off shore to a beach and into a cage with the last person to reach the cage being eliminated. Contestants were then told that they had to stay in the cage until one of them, who would be eliminated, left the cage.
