Richard Charles Roberts (born November 13, 1965) is a Canadian actor. He is known for his work in various films and television. Early life Roberts was born in Hamilton, Ontario. He grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. He studied acting at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal, graduating in 1991. Career He played Donald D'Arby in the series '' Traders'', for which he was nominated for a Gemini Award. He moved briefly to Los Angeles in 1998 appearing in the CBS series ''L.A. Doctors'' alongside Ken Olin and Sheryl Lee. He returned to Canada to star in ''An American in Canada'', which ran for two seasons. Most recently, Roberts was featured in Michael McGowan's series '' Between'', guest starred opposite Kim Cattrall in '' Sensitive Skin'' (TMN/Movie Central), appeared in ''Zoom'' (Pedro Morelli), ''God and Country'' (Ken Finkleman) and the miniseries '' The Book of Negroes'' (CBC). Rick Roberts (born 1954) Roberts was 48 at the time of publication. is an American conservative talk radio host currently on WBAP (AM) in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. He can be heard on air immediately following the nationally syndicated Rush Limbaugh Show, from 2pm to 5pm. He was formerly on KOKC AM and later KTOK AM in Oklahoma City during morning drive, 5am to 8am. Early life and career Born in Oklahoma City, Roberts grew up there and in Texas. Initially an oil and gas lease attorney, Roberts hosted seminars for other attorneys, leading to his first talk radio job around 1992 at KYGO, then at KOA in Denver. Rick "Rico" Roberts (born December 8, 1967, in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a former field hockey defender from Canada. Roberts started playing hockey in Victoria at age thirteen. He is married to former Women's National Team player Lisa Faust. Also commonly referred to as "The Hammer". He cowrote "The Goose is in Malaysia" theme song of the Men's National Team at the 1998 Commonwealth Games with David Yule. Roberts is currently a teacher at St. Georges Senior School in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He teaches English and coaches the school's field hockey team. Richard James Roberts (born August 31, 1949) is an American country rock and soft rock singer-songwriter who recorded with many influential artists over several genres. He is best known as a founding member and lead singer of Firefall from 1974 to 1981, as well as his work with The Flying Burrito Brothers on their 1971 self-titled album. He also recorded two solo albums, ''Windmills'' in 1972 and ''She Is a Song'' in 1973. Career In the fall of 1981, Roberts played dates in tandem with fellow former Burrito Brother Chris Hillman. In 1985 he was a member of "A 20th Anniversary Tribute to The Byrds", a band co-founded by ex-Byrds Gene Clark and Michael Clarke.
