Puteri Indonesia ( jv, (Hanacaraka) ꦦꦸꦠꦺꦫꦶꦆꦤ꧀ꦢꦺꦴꦤꦺꦱ; 'Princess of Indonesia') is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia that selects the winners to represent the country in two of the Big Four major international beauty pageants; namely Miss Universe and Miss International. The pageant also selects representative for Miss Supranational pageant. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The titleholder is Laksmi Shari De-Neefe Suardana of Bali who was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2022 on 27 May 2022 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. She will represent Indonesia at the 71st edition of Miss Universe beauty pageant. Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan ("Princess Indonesia Environment" or "Miss Supranational Indonesia") is a beauty pageant title organised by Puteri Indonesia. In 2008-2022, Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan competed at Miss International. Starting in 2023, the titleholder of Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan will represent Indonesia in Miss Supranational. In 2006, Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan was given to the first runner-up of Puteri Indonesia. The first Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan was Ananda Hayati from South Kalimantan. Miss Universe 1993, the 42nd Miss Universe pageant, was held on 21 May 1993 at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, Mexico.
