Pizza By Country
Pizza (, ) is a Dish (food), dish of Italian cuisine, Italian origin consisting of a usually round, flat base of Leavening agent, leavened wheat-based dough topped with tomatoes, cheese, and often various other ingredients (such as various types of sausage, anchovies, Edible mushroom, mushrooms, onions, olives, vegetables, meat, ham, etc.), which is then baked at a high temperature, traditionally in a wood-fired oven. A small pizza is sometimes called a pizzetta. A person who makes pizza is known as a pizzaiolo. In Italy, pizza served in a restaurant is presented unsliced, and is eaten with the use of a knife and fork. In casual settings, however, it is Pizza cutter, cut into wedges to be eaten finger food, while held in the hand.
