History The long awaited Paris franchise was announced on 23 September 2022 via a press statement, together with the Prague Lions for the 2023 European League of Football expansion. The team is owned and operated by the capital group named ''Les Mousquetaires de Paris'' and is based in Rosny-sous-Bois, eastern of Paris. General manager is former NFL-Player Marc-Angelo Soumah and Frantzy Dorlean is the inaugural president of the franchise. Stade Jean-Bouin (Paris)
The Stade Jean-Bouin (; ) is a multi-purpose stadium in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France. The 20,000 capacity facility is located across the street from the much larger Parc des Princes, and is used mostly for rugby union and association football matches. Paris La Défense Arena (originally known as the U Arena) is a multi-use domed stadium in Nanterre, a western suburb of Paris. Opened in October 2017, it was developed by the rugby union club Racing 92, and replaced Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir as their home field. It is one of the two multi-use domed stadiums to be built in Europe, along with Telenor Arena and is Europe’s largest indoor arena. 2023 Paris Musketeers Season
The 2023 Paris Musketeers season is the inaugural season of the Paris Musketeers team in the European League of Football for the 2023 season. Preseason After the announcement of the long awaited franchise, the front office was presented. It consists of Patrick Butler, CFL Grey Cup winner Jason Johnson and John McKeon, all operating as directors. Further general manager Marc-Angelo Soumah and president Frantzy Dorlean are member of the board. The head coach of the franchise for the first season will be former Vanderbilt Commodores' defensive secondary coach Marc Mattioli. The first ever tryout camp of the team was organized on 20 November 2022 with around 240 French and international players in attendance in the Paris La Défense Arena.
