Pafos FC
Pafos FC ( el, Πάφος FC) is a Cypriot football club based in Paphos. The club was created in 2014, by the merger of the two biggest teams of Paphos, AEP Paphos and AEK Kouklia. They play their home games at the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium, and currently compete in the Cypriot First Division. History Pafos FC formed by a merger between the strongest football forces of the Province of Paphos. The Pafos FC Association represents Paphian football and sports throughout Cyprus through the football team and the Football Academy, which has hosts hundreds of young athletes. The emblem of Pafos FC includes the name of the Club and Town in which the figure of the Eternal Adolescent Hero Evagoras Pallikarides is integrated. The shape and colours of the emblem (white, blue and gold) refer to the historical clubs of APOP and AEK Kouklia. Stelios Kyriakides Stadium
The Stelios Kyriakides Stadium (previous Pafiako Stadium) ( el, Στάδιο Στέλιος Κυριακίδης) is a multi-use stadium in Paphos, the stadium holds 9,394 people. It has a full size running track around the outside of its football and rugby playing field and is used for many athletics events throughout the year. It is regarded as one of the best pitches in Cyprus and situated ideally for the public. Until 25 May 2017 its name was Pafiako Stadium ( el, Παφιακό Στάδιο), but Cyprus Sport Organisation change its name to Stelios Kyriakides Stadium after marathon runner Stelios Kyriakides. It is the home stadium of AEP Paphos and AEK Kouklia now play there as well following their promotion to the Cypriot First Division. 2014–15 Cypriot Cup
The 2014–15 Cypriot Cup was the 73rd edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 26 clubs entered the competition. It began on 29 October 2014 with the first round and concluded on 20 May 2015 with the final which was held at GSZ Stadium. APOEL clinched their 21st Cypriot Cup trophy and their second in successive seasons with a convincing 4–2 victory over AEL Limassol. Format In the 2014–15 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division and the Cypriot Second Division (Divisions B1 and B2). Teams from the two lower divisions ( Third and Fourth) competed in a separate cup competition. The competition consisted of five rounds. In the first round each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of the one of the two teams, according to the draw results. Each tie winner was qualifying to the next round. Kévin Bérigaud (born 9 May 1988) is a French professional footballer who plays as a striker. Daniel Sikorski
Daniel Sikorski (born 2 November 1987) is an Austrian footballer who plays as a striker for Aris Limassol. Besides Austria, he has played in Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Romania, Cyprus, and Spain. Club career Sikorski was born in Warsaw, Poland. After spending his youth career at SV Waidhofen and SKN St. Pölten in Austria, he joined the reserve team of Bayern Munich in 2005. 2017–18 Cypriot Cup
The 2017–18 Cypriot Cup was the 76th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 22 clubs were accepted to enter the competition. It began on 29 November 2019 with the first round and concluded on 16 May 2018 with the final held at GSP Stadium. The winner of the Cup was AEK Larnaca for second time and qualified for the 2018–19 Europa League second qualifying round. 2017–18 Cypriot First Division
The 2017–18 Cypriot First Division was the 79th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. The season began on 19 August 2017 and is ended on 13 May 2018. Teams Promotion and relegation (pre-season) Anagennisi Deryneia and AEZ Zakakiou were relegated at the end of the first-phase of the 2016–17 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table. They were joined by Karmiotissa, who finished at the bottom of the second-phase relegation group. Nassir Maachi
Nassir Maachi (born 9 September 1985) is a Dutch footballer who plays for De Posthoorn. He also works as a youth coach for the club. Club career Maachi began his career as a youth player at Utrecht. He made his first team debut during the 2005–06 season and spent the following year on loan with Dordrecht. He joined Cambuur in 2008 and spent three seasons with the club before being transferred to Zwolle, initially on loan and then permanently during the summer of 2011.
