P.A.Works
is a Japanese animation studio founded on November 10, 2000 in Nanto, Toyama. The company's president and founder Kenji Horikawa once worked for Tatsunoko Production, Production I.G and Bee Train Production, before forming P.A. Works Corporation. The studio changed its name to P.A. Works in 2002. The main office is located in Toyama Prefecture, where drawings and digital photography take place, and production and direction in the office. The company is also involved with video games, as well as collaborating in the past with Production I.G and Bee Train for anime. In January 2008, P.A. Works produced ''True Tears'', their first anime series as the main animation studio involved in the production process. On April 20, 2018, P.A. Works announced a new e-book label named P.A. Books, with the first release being a novel adaptation of their first anime, ''True Tears''. True Tears
''True Tears'' (stylized as ''true tears'') is a Japanese popular culture, Japanese visual novel developed by La'cryma, a collaboration between Broccoli (company), Broccoli, Circus (company), Circus, GameCrab and Rei Izumi, and was originally released on March 31, 2006 for the Microsoft Windows, Windows as a DVD in Japan rated for everyone, followed by a Hong Kong and Taiwanese release on March 31, 2007. is a Japanese anime, music production and anime licensee company owned by Sony Music Entertainment Japan. The Eccentric Family
is a Japanese novel written by Tomihiko Morimi, originally published by Gentosha in 2007, with a sequel published in 2015. An anime television series adaptation based on the first book aired from July to September 2013 and was simulcast by Crunchyroll. is a series of fantasy novels written by Noriko Ogiwara. Six volumes have been released. The first volume was published by Kadokawa Shoten in 2008, while the last was published in 2012. Tsutomu Mizushima
is a Japanese animation and sound director. Career Mizushima was born in Chitose, Hokkaido and raised in Hata, Nagano (now Matsumoto, Nagano). He produced independent films in high school and when he graduated from Nagano Prefectural Matsumoto Misuzugaoka High School, he wanted to be a music teacher but gave up on higher education due to being out of work, so he got a job at Shin-Ei Animation in 1986.
