Damon Odey
Damon Odey (born 17 May 1971) is the former mayor of the New Zealand town of Timaru. Biography Odey was born in 1971 in South Canterbury, New Zealand. He later moved into the town of Timaru. Odey's professional background is in engineering. George Odey
George William Odey CBE DL (21 April 1900 – 16 October 1985) was a Conservative Party politician in the United Kingdom who served as a Member of Parliament (MP) from 1947 to 1955. He was educated at Faversham Grammar School and University College London. He was elected as MP for the Howdenshire constituency at a by-election in 1947. When that constituency was abolished in boundary changes for the 1950 general election, he was returned to the House of Commons at for the newly recreated Beverley constituency, and held the seat until its abolition for the 1955 general election. On 18 November 1952 he was made Honorary Air Commodore of No. 3505 (East Riding) Fighter Control Unit, Royal Auxiliary Air Force. John Odey
John Ogar Odey (November 1, 1959 – 7 October 2018) was appointed Nigerian minister of information and communications in July 2007, and became minister for environment in December 2008 after President Umaru Yar'Adua reshuffled his cabinet. Biography Odey graduated with a B.Sc. in banking and finance from the University of Calabar in 1986. He has been active within the media, with positions such as general manager for South-South Communication and chairman of News Agency of Nigeria. He was appointed National Publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in 2004. He served as minister of information and communications and then as minister for the environment in the cabinet of Umaru Yar'Adua.
