Nyanga National Park lies in the north of Zimbabwe's Eastern Highlands. One of the first national parks to be declared in the country,Nyanga National Park. Nyanga, Western Cape
Nyanga is a township in the Western Cape, South Africa. Its name in Xhosa means "moon" and it is one of the oldest black townships in Cape Town. It was established as a result of the migrant labour system. In 1948 black migrants were forced to settle in Nyanga as Langa had become too small. Nyanga was one of the poorest places in Cape Town and is still is one of the most dangerous parts of Cape Town. Nyanga Province
Nyanga is the southernmost of Gabon's nine provinces. The provincial capital is Tchibanga, which had a total of 31294 inhabitants in 2013 (more than the half of the province population). Nyanga is the least populated province of the nine and the other least developed, besides Ogooué-Ivindo. Nyanga Language
The Nyanga language (native name ''Kinyanga'') is a language spoken by the Nyanga people in Kivu province, north-eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Speaker estimates range from 27,000 (Biebuyck & Matheene 1970) to 150,000 (1994 census). Many of the Nyanga speak Congo Swahili, the dominant regional lingua franca, as a second language. Nyanga is a Bantu language. Most of the (scarce) linguistic research conducted on Nyanga has been based on the materials published by Biebuyck and Mateene. Nyanga literature is best known for the tales recorded by Daniel Biebuyck in 1956 and published in 1969 and 1970, including the Mwindo epic. This epic is titled after the main hero, ''Mwindo'', a miraculously born Pygmy-like human being who possesses not only a magical sceptre but also the power of the word. Nyanga District
Nyanga District is located in Manicaland Province of Zimbabwe. The administrative center is Nyanga village. The 2012 National Zimbabwe census reported its population to be 126,599 and being 52.2% female and 47.8% male. Geography Nyanga District is bounded on the south by Mutasa District, on the west by Makoni District, on the northwest by Mashonaland East Province, and on the east by Mozambique. The Nyanga Mountains occupy the southern portion of the district, extending into Mutasa District. Nyanga National Park covers the central part of the range, including Mount Nyangani, Zimbabwe's highest peak. The Gairezi River forms the eastern boundary of the District with Mozambique. Nyanga River
The Nyanga River, 600 km, is a river that runs through southern Gabon and northern Republic of the Congo. It is the second most important river in Gabon after the Ogooue. It is well known for the numerous rapids that break up its otherwise smooth course. Course It rises on the border between the two countries, near the juncture of N'Gounié and Ogooué-Lolo provinces of Gabon, runs south along the border and then southwest through the Niari province of Congo, then enters the Nyanga province of Gabon and makes a sharp bend to the northwest.
