Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov
Abdulmanap Magomedovich Nurmagomedov (russian: Абдулманап Магомедович Нурмагомедов; 10 December 1962 – 3 July 2020) was a Russian military veteran, former judoka and combat sports coach. In September 2019, he was named by the ''Russian Book of Records'' as the most successful combat sambo coach in the country. He was the father and coach of retired UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, and coach of current UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev. Biography An ethnic Avar, Nurmagomedov was born in 1962 in the village of Sildi, Tsumadinsky District. Abubakar Magomedovich Nurmagomedov (born November 13, 1989) is a Russian mixed martial artist, who is currently competing in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is a three-time Combat Sambo World Championship bronze medalist and Russian national combat sambo champion. Background Abubakar Nurmagomedov was born on November 13, 1989 in the village of Goksuv in Khasavyurtovsky District, Dagestan. Gadzhimurad Nurmagomedov ( hy, Հաջիմուրադ Նուրմոհամեդով, born 1 May 1987) is an Armenian Freestyle wrestling, Freestyle wrestler of Dagestani descent. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Wrestling at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's freestyle 84 kg, men's freestyle 84 kg division. Nurmagomedov first defeated former Olympic silver medalist Yusup Abdusalomov in the first preliminary match, with a technical score of 4–4, and a classification score of 1–3. Umar Nurmagomedov (born March 1, 1996), is a Russian mixed martial artist currently competing in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
